Hiking in El Torcal de Antequera

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon high places (Habakkuk 3:19) 

LITERALLY.  

This morning I went hiking at El Torcal de Antequera, some peaks near  where I’m staying in Andalucía, and let me tell you, the “path” for this hike was so rough, I texted people to pray for me. 

I was hiking alone (not ideal) and I can be pretty clumsy.  It was treacherous enough that I was well aware I was beyond my hiking threshold.  But as I went, I was thinking of so many verses that applied , and my favorite one (above) was about how God makes even the most difficult circumstances easy for us, when we go one step at a time in His power, in His will, and in His timing.  Obviously I survived (didn’t fall, both ankles still intact, and you can tell by the big smile how much I LOVED it).
